Project 365 Day 70: Hi, Bye
We accompanied Aaron to the airport as it was his flight back to the Philippines. We arrived just 1.5 hour before his intended flight schedule and there were no more long lines zigzagging in front of the check-in counters of people waiting to be checked-in when we arrived there which we think was very convenient and hassle-free as opposed to going there hours early and subjecting yourself to unnecessary stresses and tiredness. Ten minutes after checking-in we already headed straight to the departure area. Kimi still has not gotten any idea that his tatay is leaving. But when Aaron entered the gates, Kimi shouted as if calling after his tatay and telling him that he wants to go with him as well. It was heartbreaking but you just easily snap back to your senses and go back to the main reason why we are doing this.
We then proceeded to the arrival area to wait for my mom who will stay here for the next few months. It was her intended travel day to Melbourne from the Philippines and she was travelling with my brother and his girlfriend. As it was a sad day because Aaron was going back to the Philippines, it was also a happy one because relatives are visiting us.
