Project 365 Day 46: Around Mornington

We started the day bathing in mineral waters at the Peninsula Hot Springs. The hot springs features thermal pools scattered strategically around the area. We were vying to immerse and stay in one of the pools at the hilltop and the bathing gully but found that they were all occupied already. What a shame! Nonetheless, we decided to stay at the aqua therapy pool which proved to be more perfect for us, as a family, as Kimi can just stay at the shallower area of the pool where the jets were while we can just go to the deeper part once in a while. We stayed in the hot springs for at least 3 hours then headed out to have lunch at Steam to have a Yum Cha lunch which was so filling as I mistakenly ordered 8 yum cha servings for just Aaron and I. Since we were so full, we just went back to the apartment and slept the afternoon away until it was already time to go to our dinner booking in Red Gum BBQ to enjoy some American BBQ!
