Project 365: Day 4

It was a fairly slow and warm day earlier. Kimi was woken up from his afternoon sleep by the giggles of the two young boys living in the unit below. Kimi gets excited whenever he hears a kid or sees a kid. Riding on in his excitement, I put his sneakers on him and out we go in our balcony to see the two young boys playing in their backyard. Kimi pressed his hands and face on the glass balustrades while the two boys alternately look and smile at him. After a while, the boys got tired and went back inside their unit. Kimi was still not done. Since sunset was then nearing, Kimi and I went to the park to expel more energy and run our hearts out. The moment I put Kimi’s feet on the grass, he just run amok. He even disturbed the birds that were eating nearby.

I took some lovely photos when we were in the park but I chose this because of how the light entered through the glass and fell on the tiled floor. At first glance, it seemed like a black-and-white photo. Only when you take a closer look and focus on the background will you realize that you had been greatly fooled. I just simply love how unique this photo is compared to other shots.
