Project 365: Day 1
Settings: f2, 1/15 sec, ISO 200
Commencing the 365-day photoblog challenge that I had set for myself, I took this photo earlier of Kimi. This was taken in our spare bedroom. We recently just got back from a week-long trip in Singapore and since I just recovered from being sick, I usually just go directly in this room to write, read and eventually sleep after coming home from work. I know I have not fully recovered yet since I have found myself falling asleep in the afternoon. I just keep the door to the room open so that Kimi can come in anytime to play with me. Before our trip to Singapore, we transferred his cot from the living room to this spare bedroom since he’s only been using it for nappy-changing for months now. We placed the cot near the wall, in between the foot of the bed and the cabinet leaving just enough space around the cot to fit a walking toddler and so that is exactly what’s happening. Whenever Kimi comes in the room, he goes directly to the cot, walk in the space around the cot until he had enough and eventually walk out of the room. This was him trying to squeeze his self in this narrow space. I just adore the look on his face while he is trying to work out a problem.
Yes, it is blurry but I chose this because it captures greatly the moment. I also have a problem with autofocus lately as most of my photos are still coming out to be blurred. I was using Single Point AF when I took this shot. Maybe I’ll try a different mode next time.
