METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES. The loved Weekend Dimsum Buffet of Crystal Jade Dining IN is now back by popular demand! Running during the weekends from 2 PM to 5 PM, we arrived in the restaurant a little after 2 PM to fully maximize the already money-worthy buffet. Upon taking our seats, we were then presented with a menu and an order form. The menu served as a guide for us to know the main ingredients of the dishes and the form, on the other hand, proved to be helpful in setting the limitations. Not all the dim sum items found in their menu is included in the roster, however, this fact should not discourage you in trying out this buffet.
Truthfully, the buffet was what we expected it to be and more. There were the tried-and-tested dim sums like the Steamed Hakau (dumpling that is made in shrimp and wrapped in a translucent skin), Chicken Feet (self-explanatory) and the Steamed Pork Siew Mai (filled with pork and in this case, topped with crab roe). There were also those that were able to capture our hearts in an instant like the Steamed Beef Balls, Steamed Shrimp and Spinach Dumpling (I can still remember the taste of this one! The best Kuchay dumplings ever!), Steamed Cream Custard Bun with Salted Egg Yolk (which we ended up liking because of its oozing filling) and Baked Bo Lo B.B.Q. Pork Bun (which I think topples over the other pork buns that are found in the metro). There were also some items which I fondly called "wild cards" because of their hit-or-miss characteristics such as the Steamed Vegetarian Dumpling (which I really liked because of its clean and unassuming taste), the Pan-fried Carrot Cake with Dried Shrimp and Preserved Meat (which my brother became a fan of) and the Deep-Fried Yam Dumpling with Scallop, Minced Pork & Mushroom (which has this strong taste that needed some trial bites first before you can ever get used to it).
For just Php 788+ each, you will be able to fill your tummy with any dim sum listed in the order form from 2 PM to 5 PM during weekends. This also comes with a free-flowing tea which can either be served hot or cold and some complimentary noodles for groups of 4 and above. What a great deal! I think we had 2 batches of orders which totalled to 30 dim sum plates for our group of five! Doing some mental calculation and assuming that each dim sum order costs Php 200 each if we are to order them ala carte, our total bill would run up to Php 6000, which goes to show that the buffet price is so worth it!
So if you want to treat yourself with some Cantonese food and are up for the buffet experience, going to Crystal Jade Dining IN located in Bonifacio High Street to try their Weekend Dimsum Buffet is your best bet! Just do not forget to starve yourself prior going so that you can allot more space for their dim sum delights. I promise you that the sacrifice will be worth it!
Try it the soonest before the offer ends again!
